Shuna Dicks and I have put our heads together and are planning a Being With Course to run once a month throughout the year. It will be on-line and there will be folk from Cults and folk from Keith North invited to attend. We are planning on meeting once a month on a Wednesday evening from 7, beginning 28th September. Topics will focus on what it means to be Church today. We will look at Bible, Communion, Discipleship, Prayer, and Mission. Could you be part of this conversation? Please let Amy know.
Might you consider coming along to Bible Study of the Gospel of John-Tuesdays at 4 in the hall? This Tuesday, the 15st of September we are thinking about John chapter 9 this coming week and you are invited, too. We will be thinking about a controversy and trial and why Jesus came into this world.
Coffee morning this week, 19th of September from 10-12. We hope there will be loads of folk as it is the first coffee morning of the season in our hall. It’s not too late to contribute a raffle or to help serve. Definitely come and support our efforts to raise funds for the sanctuary.
This week I need to be away for a few days for my work with Chaplains to His Majesty’s Forces. I will be in Belfast, NI from Wednesday to Friday, but I must travel down to Edinburgh on Tuesday. I can still check e-mail and be in touch, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you need to, but be aware I might not be able to respond immediately.
