Newmill is a village with a population of around 300 lying approximately one mile North of Keith.
The church was closed in the 1970’s, was subsequently sold and is now a private dwelling.
Although a small village, Newmill has a Primary School which was rebuilt in the late 1980’s, a well used village hall, pub and Chinese Takeaway.
