Weekly Window for 12th May 2024

Lots happening this week! Firstly, Monday, 13th of May is our opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a parish grouping. We will have a conversation with Shuna Dicks here in the church hall at 4 PM. All are welcome.

Then, we will be hosting a ‘big breakfast’ for Christian Aid. Come on along for a sausage roll or bacon roll on Wednesday, 15th May 2024 9:30-11:30 for a mid-week snack and to learn more about Christian Aid. See if you can bring a friend?!

Our Bible Study is off and running this term. We are learning more about Peter, where he ministered and the letters bearing his name. We are gathering Thursdays at 4 PM in the hall to learn more about these writings. I would love to see you there.

Our group with babies and toddlers is holding steady. We would be happy for a few more to join us on Thursday mornings from 9:15-10:15.

A Coffee morning to enjoy this coming Saturday the 18th: the Banffshire Federation SWI in the hall.

Next Sunday will be Pentecost, and Café church. Come along for some Table Worship.

Just a reminder, Amy will be away at General Assembly in Edinburgh, and then a few days holiday from 18th of May-27th May. Pastoral cover will be by Rev Wiekus Van Straaten.

All Guild present and future members, please note KN will be hosting a Guild Gathering for Moray on the Wednesday, the 29th of May from 2-3:30. We will need a few tea pourers and welcomers. Let me know if you would like to help. Thanks.

Session – our meeting with a representative from Presbytery will occur on the evening of the 29th of May at 7 PM at St. Rufus Kirk. Please do come and hear the recommendations from the General Trustees regarding our buildings.
