A warm welcome this week to Murray Campbell, and prayers for a beautiful service. We will be worshipping together but in separate spaces.
Tonight, 14th Dec at St. Rufus, the Rotary Christmas Service. Come be part of the choir. Meet in Keith North hall at 5 PM and we will have a run through – definitely looking for a joyful noise. We will be singing a hymn in God Welcomes All to the tune of O Little Town of Bethlehem, and we have been asked to sing O Come All Ye Faithful, too. Then we will all walk down the road together for the carol concert at 6 PM.
Next week, the 21st will be our nativity service, and I am hoping a few folk will help children to select their costumes. Can you please e-mail me if you might be available to help on this Sunday? Please do encourage neighbours and grandchildren to attend. It will be a service for all to be involved. We are also celebrating a baptism on this Sunday. William Davidson will be baptized as part of the service.
Dec 23rd we are gathering a few folk to sing carols. Gordon Strathdee will accompany us on the guitar, and we are hoping to sing first at Taylor Court beginning at 2 PM (so plan to arrive a few minutes before), then walking down to Glenisla for a few carols, then to Turner again for a few carols (all will be well known), and finally singing around the tree outside of Keith North before moving into the hall for Hot Chocolate and treats. Happy to have your voice-even if you are not a singer!
Christingle will be at Rothiemay at 4 PM on the 24th and we will have a Christmas Watch Night Service at 11:15 PM in Keith North Hall. This will be a joint service and all are welcome. Christmas Day our service will be at 10:30 AM, also a joint worship opportunity.
