6th Sunday in Epiphany
Next Sunday, the 23rd, we will be having a baptism at Rothiemay. All are invited to attend that service at 9:30 AM. If you cannot make it to Rothiemay, please worship with our neighbours at St. Rufus at 10:15 AM (worship will include Thinking Day celebrations), or Holy Trinity at 11:30 AM as there will be no service at Keith North on that day.
Please note, the next Bible Study is Tuesday, 25 Feb 25 at 4 PM in the hall. We will be considering the parable of the Good Samaritan.
We are hosting a pot luck lunch this Saturday, 22 February in the Hall at 1 PM. All are welcome, as we are gathering for fellowship to spend time with our church family. Please come along and bring along your favourite dish. If you might be available to help set up, serve tea or wash dishes, please let Amy know. Thanks!
Also, please do plan on coming to the prayer workshop on 1st March at Bellie Church in Fochabers. This is in preparation for Lent, and different ways of praying will be presented. Ken Jeffrey is an inspirational speaker, and we are learning different ways to pray with speakers from around the presbytery. The time is 10-12:30, and tea and coffee will be available. It will be a good opportunity.
Ash Wednesday is 5th of March and an Ash Wednesday Service will be conducted on that day.
And one more save the date, 22 March we are planning to have a church retreat-this time an at home one. We are planning to meet at 10 AM in the upstairs rooms and have coffee with the fundraiser coffee morning in the hall around 11, break about 1 for a soup lunch and then we will finish around 2:30. This will be during Lent and themes will be appropriate to that time.
