Our first retiral offering was taken last week. We raised money for the Moderator’s Challenge to provide light for children in Malawi to study.
Please remember the Rotary Club Christmas Service this evening at 6 PM. We will have lessons and carols and children from the primary schools. I will be giving the reflection this year, and Krista will read a scripture. It is an ecumenical service and usually very well attended.
Please come explore advent together with our Bible Study Tuesday at 4 PM. We have one more week to speak about the last theme of Advent, Love. You can join at any time, so if you have time this Tuesday, stop by.
Upcoming Services: Our Nativity service will be next week, the 22nd of December at Keith North. We are going to be hosting a donkey this year. Please do plan on making this service part of your advent celebrations. Christingle will be 4 PM at Rothiemay on the 24th, Watch Night will be 11:15 PM Christmas Eve, and then Christmas Day we will celebrate here with a 10:30 service.
The folk at Turner are eager to have us come and carol with them. We will also sing around the tree outside, as long as the weather isn’t like this past week-end! We would love to hear your voice, and then share fellowship with hot chocolate or tea back at the hall.
If you are a regular attender (or irregularly regular), please do consider officially joining our congregation. There are a few decisions we will be taking over the course of the next months, and it would be helpful to have your voice a part of that discussion. Speak to Amy if you might like a further conversation.
