We are very lucky to have a dedicated team who look after our young members
The ladies are so kind, well organised and experienced and here they explain a bit about what they offer: Sunday’s Cool and Crèche meet every Sunday morning during term time at Keith North Church
We all join together in Church at the start of the morning service and after the children’s address and hymn, the younger pre-school children go upstairs to the crèche
Our older children ( P1 upwards ) go through to the hall
The material we all use at the moment is Scripture Union’s ‘Light’ – crèche using ‘Bubbles’ and the older children following ‘Splash’ being the age appropriate versions for our groups
There are bible based stories , games, quizzes, puzzles, cartoons, crafts ,dramas, many web resources and songs for us to choose from each week
The children (and adults) enjoy various activities throughout the year
In recent years, these have included: celebrating Easter with an outdoor egg hunt and picnic, the end of term prize giving and picnic, a Christmas party and the nativity (in which the adults of the congregation also take part)
Although we are quite small in numbers at the moment , we do have a lot of fun!
